Why avoid the publicity people who wear glasses?

Many people wear glasses. Why can not we see more actors, models, or people appearing on television with glasses? I see nothing wrong with people glasses, and it happens to improve the appearance of some people. It seems a distortion of how they are real difference. Why is this?

Because Hollywood and modeling agencies, to establish their own standards of what is beautiful. I wonder if the actors, modeling and TV people will be asked to switch to contacts or LASIK surgery, if elected to any role and usually wear glasses. I'm glad to wear glasses. I have a line through the nose at the top which is hereditary, and my glasses cover it! I bought really expensive (for me), OAKLEY sunglasses perscription $ 400.00. Worth. It's part of my look! Hooray for the brave of glasses. We are an endangered species.
